PCPO Policy Resolutions

Dear supporters,

How would you like to see a major Ontario political party adopt pro-life and pro-family policies into its next policy platform?

Well, the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario is in the process of accepting ideas from everyone in Ontario, regardless of party affiliation, about which official policies they would like to see the PCs adopt.

PC Leader, Patrick Brown, launched a new policy development process which he has explicitly promised will be shaped by grassroots party members, and even, by average, non-member Ontario citizens, regardless of party affiliation:

"Gone are the days that we have a small group at Queen's Park in the backroom that writes our platform. This is going to be the most grassroots-driven policy process we've ever had.  I want to make sure that our next platform, that it's the membership, it is the stakeholders, it is those on the front lines of every sector, who are the authors of our platform.... We are going to listen". - Patrick Brown, Ontario PC Leader

Let's hold Mr. Brown to his word. Let's take advantage of this very open process he set up. Let's push policies that are pro-parental rights, pro-life, and pro-religious freedom.  Let's have thousands of PC members bombard the Party with socially conservative policy recommendations.

Below are several sample policies that other social conservative PC members have already written and submitted.  The submitters sent a copy to CLC and asked that we share them with other social conservative PC members for their consideration, and for the purpose of building support around specific policies. We are pleased to pass on these (8) pre-written policy resolutions, along with Rationale points that explain why the policy resolution is sound.
No. Policy Resolution / Topic Area

1 - Sex Education

2 - Conscience Rights

3 - Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide

4 - Women's Privacy and Security Rights

5 - Government Transparency

6 - OHIP Funding

7 - Minors and Parental Consent

8 - Rights of Workers

Simply click the link, then copy and paste the text of the above policies, along with the Rationale, into a submission form on the PC Party website.

Submit the policy you feel strongest about. Or even better, submit them all. Feel free to submit your own policies on life and family issues. However, please do a separate submission for each policy resolution.

We want to track how many Ontarians submitted each policy resolution. So please do us a favour by sending us an email afterwards, indicating which policy resolution(s) you submitted.

Sincerely,
The Campaign Life Coalition Team
