CLC rating: Pro-abortion
Rating Comments: As the former Liberal MP for Mississauga-Streetsville, she had a deplorable, pro-death and anti-family voting record. Crombie voted in favour of Bob Rae's motion to force Canadian taxpayers to fund abortions in Africa. She also voted against Bill C-510 to protect pregnant women from coercion to abort. Crombie also voted in favour of the transsexual Bathroom Bill which put girls and women at risk from sexual predators by granting biological males the legal right to enter female washrooms and changerooms if they merely "claim" to have an interior "feeling" of being a woman. Crombie has never responded to any of CLC's election questionnaires.
In December 2023, the pro-abortion, pro-LGBT Crombie won the race to become Leader of the pro-abortion, pro-LGBT Liberal Party of Ontario, in an effort to resuscitate that party, which was decimated after the 2018 Ontario provincial election, under notoriously pro-abortion, pro-LGBT Leader Kathleen Wynne.
