Trustee Chantal Phillips
Near North District School Board, ON
Electoral District: Zone 1: North Bay
Bio
CLC rating: Not supportable
Rating Comments: In response to CLC's 2022 trustee election survey, Ms. Phillips declared that she is living in a lesbian relationship, and has a child that was created from artificial insemination. She expressed strong condemnation of CLC's pro-life and pro-family principles, referring to them as "ignorance" and "prejudice". Christian families and those of other faiths which adhere to the biblical view of marriage, family and sanctity of life would not be well-served if Ms. Phillips were to be elected. To the contrary, one can reasonably expect that she would treat traditionally-principled families, and their children, with a similar level of contempt as that directed at CLC. Voters beware.
