Trustee Lyra Evans
Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, ON
Electoral District: Zone 6- Rideau-Rockcliffe /Alta Vista
Bio
CLC rating: Not supportable
Rating Comments: This trustee is a biological male who identifies as a woman in his mind. Mr. Evans ran for the rabidly pro-abortion and pro-LGBT New Democratic Party in the 2018 Ontario provincial election, being billed as the first transgender activist to run as a candidate in one of Ontario's major parties.
In July 2018, enraged over the principled repeal of the child-abusive Wynne Liberals' LGBT sex-curriculum by the newly elected Doug Ford PC government, Mr. Evans threatened to run for a trustee's position with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, and eventually did so, becoming the first so-called "openly transgender" school trustee.
