Rating Comments: During the 2022 BC municipal elections cycle, Dupinder was endorsed by a local pro-life leader. Her party, Parents Voice BC, has taken a very strong stance against woke ideology in the classroom, and in favour of parental rights in education.

However, in the run-up to the 2024 BC provincial election, Dupinder, who had been a Conservative candidate, withdrew from the party to run as an Independent candidate, citing perceived collusion between the Conservatives and the effectively defunct BC United Party to get the latter party to withdraw all its candidates from the election. Then in late September of 2024, Dupinder announced that she was withdrawing from the election altogether in order to support an NDP candidate. This shocking change, to support a party rabidly committed to abortion, LGBT ideology, and euthanasia, casts Dupinder's previous pro-family and parental rights position into serious question.
