CLC rating: Pro-abortion
Rating Comments: When asked his position on abortion by CBC News in April 2019, he stated that he is pro-life. However, since becoming Premier of the province, he has allowed the chemical abortion pill to be funded by Saskatchewan taxpayers. And during the Wuhan virus lockdown, the Scott Moe provincial government shut down all elective surgeries and medical tests, but kept abortions going full steam by declaring abortions to be an "essential service".

On November 24, 2021 Moe's government passed a stunningly totalitarian censorship law, Bill 48. It stripped Saskatchewan citizens of their constitutional right to freedom of expression throughout the entire province, by banning any type of protest, demonstration, or communication that is critical of government "health" policy within 50-metres of every hospital in the province.

As a result of the censorship law, it is now illegal to protest abortion, euthanasia, forced vaccines and the firing of nurses and doctors for declining to take Covid-19 injections.

Nevertheless, to his credit, in October 2023, Moe passed a wonderful 'Parents Bill of Rights' law that will require schools to obtain parental consent before their children can use opposite sex names or opposite sex pronouns at school. The bill also included other valuable protections against LGBT and sexual grooming in the classroom, which has become rampant over the past decade.

Here is Scott Moe's voting record relating to life and family issues:

Votes, Surveys and Policy Decision Vote Score
Bill 137 — The Education (Parents’ Bill of Rights) Amendment Act, 2023
In a groundbreaking victory for parental rights and child protection in Canada, the Saskatchewan provincial government passed its Parents’ Bill of Rights, ensuring that parental authority is respected, family values are prioritized over politically-correct / state-approved values, and students are better protected from falling prey to LGBT grooming and woke ideological indoctination. Premier Scott Moe even invoked the Notwithstanding Clause to shield the pro-family legislation from the whims of unelected, activist judges who might try to label it “transphobic”. Bill 137 passed by a huge vote margin of 40 - 12 on October 20, 2023.
