CLC rating: Pro-abortion, pro-LGBT ideology, pro-euthanasia
Rating Comments: Karen McCrimmon was previously the Federal Liberal MP in Kanata-Carleton. Official Federal Liberal policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.

As an Liberal MP, on March 11, 2021, McCrimmon voted to dramatically expand the euthanasia killing regime in Canada under Bill C-7, even extending it to people suffering from mental illness alone.

In June 2021, she voted against pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Later that month, McCrimmon disgracefully revealed herself to be an enemy of parental rights, and science, by voting to pass Bill C-6, legislation that will jail parents for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

In 2023, former MP McCrimmon joined the provincial Liberal Party of Ontario to run in the July by-election in Kanata-Carleton. Like its federal counterpart, the Ontario Liberals are also rabidly pro-abortion. For example, in a declaration of war against pro-life Canadians under the previous Kathleen Wynne government, the Ontario Liberals passed the unconstitutional Bill 163 into law in 2017 which took away our Charter right to free speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to protest. Wynne's government legislation established "No Free Speech Zones" around all Ontario abortion facilities, criminalizing pro-life witness and free speech on taxpayer-owned, public sidewalks within a radius of up to 150 metres of every abortuary in Ontario. It will put peaceful, pro-life sidewalk counsellors and demonstrators in jail for 6 months, along with the possibility of a $5000 fine for the first "offense". This law will directly result in the deaths of many more preborn children who could have been saved by pro-life sidewalk counsellors, as so many thousands have been over the years.

It was also the Wynne Liberal government that introduced the obscene, child-abusive LGBT sex-curriculum that pollutes the minds and invades the imaginations of very young children with erotic fetishes and sexual disorientation.

Votes, Surveys and Policy Decision Vote Score
Motion 36 - To expand OHIP coverage to include universal access to all prescription contraception.
This motion would have expanded the scope of the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) to cover the cost of all prescription contraceptives, including oral hormone pills, copper IUDs, implants and the abortifacient drug called Plan B. This motion was defeated on Nov. 30, 2023, by a vote of 61-23. The voting broke down along party lines with the Ontario PCs opposing this free, taxpayer-funded contraception plan, while the support for the scheme came from NDP and Liberal MPPs.

Question Response
Do you acknowledge that human life begins at conception (fertilization)? --
Are there any circumstances under which you believe a woman should have access to abortion? (note: a surgical or medical intervention, designed to prevent the death of the mother but but which results in the unintended and undesired death of the pre-born child, is not an abortion. e.g. in cases of tubal pregnancy or cervical cancer) Yes, all circumstances (per party policy)
Would you support measures to delist medically unnecessary, elective abortions from the list of insured services covered by OHIP? No (per party policy)
Do you agree women have the right to be thoroughly informed about the serious health consequences of abortion, the development of the child in the womb and the alternatives to abortion? --
Would you vote in favor of repealing the Ontario "bubble zone" censorship law? This unconstitutional law criminalizes peaceful pro-life expression, including silent prayer, on taxpayer-owned public sidewalks within 50 metres (or more) of any abortion facility. No (per party policy)
Will you protect parental rights in education by working to ensure that traditionally principled parents are given advance notice of, and the ability to withdraw their children from, classroom lessons and presentations dealing with abortion, contraception, homosexuality, and transgenderism? --
Would you support efforts to repeal the age-inappropriate, graphic, sex-ed curriculum which is currently being taught throughout Ontario schools? No (per party policy)
If elected, will you vote to reject laws that would expand euthanasia and assisted-suicide and instead, promote palliative care, the purpose of which is to alleviate pain, and enhance the quality of life until natural death for terminally ill patients, and for those with disabilities?

*Euthanasia is the direct and intentional killing of a person by action or omission, with or without the consent of that person, for what people mistakenly believe are compassionate reasons.
