Candidate, Mary Fragedakis
Liberal Party, Toronto-Danforth, ON
Bio
CLC rating: Pro-abortion
Rating Comments: On August 24, 2017, while serving as a Toronto City Councillor, Mary Fragedakis, along with fellow councillor Paula Fletcher, TDSB Trustee Jennifer Story, and Toronto-Danforth MPP Peter Tabuns, jointly sent a letter of petition to then-Attorney General of Ontario Yasir Naqvi, calling for the prohibition of pro-life signs and flyers distributed by the pro-life organization Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform. The pro-life materials feature images of babies killed by abortion, which the above-named petitioners consider too grisly to be viewed by the public, but apparently not grisly enough to stop the murder of preborn children by abortion in the first place.

Would you support efforts to repeal the age-inappropriate, graphic, sex-ed curriculum which is currently being taught throughout Ontario schools? | survey not yet sent |
If elected, will you vote to reject laws that would expand euthanasia and assisted-suicide and instead, promote palliative care, the purpose of which is to alleviate pain, and enhance the quality of life until natural death for terminally ill patients, and for those with disabilities? *Euthanasia is the direct and intentional killing of a person by action or omission, with or without the consent of that person, for what people mistakenly believe are compassionate reasons. |
