Bio
CLC rating: Pro-abortion
Rating Comments: In November 2024, Thomas Trappenberg joined the Liberal Party of Nova Scotia and became a candidate in the 2024 provincial election. Previously, Mr. Trappenberg had campaigned numerous times as a Green Party candidate on both the federal and provincial levels, and was, in fact, the leader of the Green Party of Nova Scotia from 2016 to 2021. As a Green Party of Nova Scotia candidate, Mr. Trappenberg replied to CLC's election survey on August 2, 2021, saying: "I strongly believe in the importance of the right of a women to have control over her body and unborn child." This is code language for his support for abortion.
