MLA Scott Armstrong
Progressive Conservative Party, Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley, NS
Bio
CLC rating: Pro-abortion
Rating Comments: As a federal MP, Scott Armstrong was a member of a parliamentary committee which, on March 27, 2013, deemed an important private members motion (M408) non-votable, based on trumped-up grounds. M408 merely sought to condemn the barbaric practice of sex-selective abortion: the killing of unborn babies solely on the basis of their sex. In 2012 he also voted against MP Stephen Woodworth's principled Motion 312 to study whether a child in the womb is a human being based on the evidence from modern medical science.
