Rating Comments: In November 2024, Tammy Jakeman was removed as an NDP candidate in the 2024 provincial election for making social media posts that were critical of the State of Israel. She decided to run in the 2024 race anyway, as an Independent candidate. Ms. Jakeman's rating is based on the fact that the NDP is officially pro-abortion and pro-LGBT ideology. The current NDP leader, Claudia Chender, introduced and passed a provincial censorship law to strip pro-life Nova Scotians of their constitutional rights to freedom of expression and freedom of assembly.
