Rating Comments: Mayor McQuaker took a principled stand by voting against the request of a local LGBT activist group to officially support its so-called "Gay Pride Month" observances, stating that a Gay Pride flag should not be flown at the town hall, as there was no flag flown there to celebrate heterosexual practices either. Thankfully, the pro-gay propaganda request was defeated at Council, although LGBT agitators then, predictably, attacked the Council's decision as being "homophobic and transphobic".
