Mayor Patrick Brown
Brampton, ON
Bio
Unfortunately, not long after his winning the Ontario PC Leadership, CLC had to rate him "pro-abortion". This was because Brown did a total about face, telling various news media that he supports a woman's so-called "choice" to have an abortionist kill the child in her womb.
Ironically, it was Brown's pro-family leadership campaign, in vigorously opposing Kathleen Wynne's radical Sex curriculum, that resulted in selling thousands of PC memberships and helped him secure the leadership.
However, shortly after becoming Leader, he immediately crumbled under mainstream media pressure to recant all his social conservative principles. He began to make pro-abortion and anti-family statements routinely, when prompted by the media. Brown also turned himself into a cheerleader for former Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne's policies and said he fully supported the age-inappropriate, child-abusive sex curriculum
Brown marched in Toronto's 2015 gay pride parade which features buck naked men walking down the streets of Toronto, simulated sex acts, sexual bondage, and sadomasochism. Brown was even co-opted as a puppet of the gay-activist lobby group calling itself LGBTory, to demand that the federal Conservative Party abandon its support of natural marriage between a man and a woman, a position he once defended.
In 2017, while claiming to be a Catholic, then-PC Leader Brown supported Ontario Bill 163 to criminalize the thousands of Catholics and other Christians who peacefully pray and witness outside abortuaries where children are killed before birth. In a betrayal of our constitutional right to free speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to protest, Brown voted in favour this draconian Liberal bill to establish "No Free Speech Zones" around all Ontario abortion facilities.
The unconstitutional Bill 163 banned pro-life witness and free speech on taxpayer-owned, public sidewalks within a radius of up to 150 metres. It will put peaceful, pro-life sidewalk counsellors and demonstrators in jail for 6 months, along with the possibility of a $5000 fine for the first "offense". The coming into law of this bill will directly result in the deaths of many more preborn children who could have been saved by pro-life sidewalk counsellors, as so many thousands have been over the years.
In January 2018, Brown resigned as Ontario PC Leader amid allegations of sexual assault, which he vigorously denied. Later that year, he ran for, and was elected as, Mayor of Brampton in the Ontario Municipal Elections.
In May 2022, during his campaign for the Leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, Mayor Brown reaffirmed his belief that there is a "right" to kill unborn children by abortion (see Quotes tab).

Here are quotes from Patrick Brown on various life and family issues:
Resuscitating the slippery, outdated rhetoric of 1990s pro-abortion US President Bill Clinton: "Abortion in Canada should be safe, legal, and, in my personal opinion, rare."
[Toronto Star, "‘Important for leaders to commit to protecting women’s rights’, says Patrick Brown after leaked draft of Roe v Wade opinion in U.S.", May 3, 2022]
Showing his audacious contempt for social conservatives: "I would say to (Ontario Premier Doug) Ford that the social conservatives are dinosaurs who are becoming less and less relevant every single day. Ten years ago, they may have been a real force, but I believe that their influence is waning with every year that passes. They are people yelling at the sky. They have influence in a political party because they are organized. But they are few in number and they are out of sync with a modern Ontario. And I don't think that they represent conservatism of any stripe. Conservatism is about getting government out of your business. So how does that work for social conservatives? We won't tell you what to do, but we're going to tell you what to do in your bedroom or whom to love? It's so disingenuously hypocritical. Social conservatism is an oxymoron."
[Patrick Brown, from his book "Take Down: The Comeback Kid", 2021]
Stating his fundamental belief in a "right" for women to kill their unwanted children by abortion: “I will always support the right of a woman’s decision on her reproductive health. Full Stop.”
