Rating Comments: In April 2019, Mayor Meed Ward supported an appalling, anti-Catholic letter written by pro-LGBT, dissident Catholic students who were demanding that the Halton Catholic District School Board reverse its correct decision not to fly the notorious Gay Pride flag at its schools during June, which has been dubbed "Pride Month" by LGBT sex-activists and their supporters. The letter effectively called on HCDSB trustees to reject Christian teaching by flying the banner of sexual sin, and accusing them of being "hateful" for voting against flying the flag in the first place.
In March 2024, Mayor Meed Ward voted in favour of an unconstitutional censorship by-law that targets pro-life expression that is totally legal and totally peaceful.
