Rating Comments: In June 2024, Trustee Viloria sponsored an excellent motion-in-committee to prevent the homosexualist Pride flag from being flown at DPCDSB facilities, and days later, on June 11, he voted against an sneaky motion that would have opened the door for anti-Catholic flags like the LGBT Pride flag to be flown at DPCDSB facilities.
Trustee Viloria's principled voting pattern aligns nicely with his initial responses to our election survey, on the basis of which CLC had endorsed him for election in 2022. His September 2023 vote to change the DPCDSB by-law governing Delegations & Submission to include new censorship provisions designed to block parents from being able to criticize Gender Identity Theory and LGBT Ideology was likely due to an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Trustee Corbet's motion would effectively undermine the principled policy amendment of April, and re-introduce the ability of special-interests pressure-groups, like the notorious LGBT lobby, to symbolically stake their claim on the DPCDSB by raising the Pride flag. The timing of Trustee Corbet's motion, at the beginning of so-called Pride Month (which is actually the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) is surely no coincidence. Her motion passed at the Policy Review Committee meeting by a vote of 9 to 2 on June 4, 2024, and now will be voted on at the full Board meeting on June 11, 2024. |
