Bio
CLC rating: Supportable
Rating Comments: In May 2023, Trustee Alexander rightly voted against a scandalous Motion to fly the anti-Catholic, homosexual/transgender Pride flag at the YCDSB's Catholic Education Centre for the entire month of June.
Although Trustee Alexander gave perfect answers to CLC's 2022 election survey, those answers were seriously contradicted by a statement he gave to the local newspaper on September 16. He told the news outlet that he would champion "diversity" as a "core value" of the Catholic school system. After so many years of following the LGBT infiltration into the separate school system, CLC understands very well that the secular doctrine of "diversity" is code word for promoting homosexuality and transgenderism. In the same statement, Alexander promised to promote this secular "core value" by ensuring that "in all its practices, including hiring" the school board "values the uniqueness of all individuals, including their... sexual orientation...", amongst other factors like race, ethnicity, gender, and socio-economic status. To any reasonable observer, what this statement means is that Trustee Alexander will ensure the school board hires people who identify as homosexual and who are living in an objectively sinful lifestyle which contradicts Catholic moral teaching. CLC also knows from experience that when such individuals work in a Catholic school, they tend to behave as militant LGBTQ+ activists, constantly working to undermine the Catholic Church's teaching, to convince students to reject biblical teaching on marriage and human sexuality, and to persecute faithful Catholic teachers who object to teaching pro-LGBTQ+ ideology.
