Rating Comments: As a Catholic school trustee in the WCDSB, Da Silva undermined the Catholic faith, in total violation of his fiduciary (and spiritual) obligations.
At an April 14, 2025 WCDSB meeting, he was part of a delegation of former trustees, including Brian Schmalz, Bill Conway and Wendy Price, who spoke AGAINST a motion to ban all political symbols, including the transgender & homosexual Pride flag.
Collectively, the delegation promoted "LGBT inclusion" in Catholic schools and represented active dissent from Catholic moral teaching (which condemns the sex acts and lifestyles represented by that controversial flag).
