Rating Comments: On March 2, 2020, Councillor Higham voted in City Council to partially support the passage of a reckless and draconain Motion that bans all forms of counseling that radical LGBT activists disingenuously define as "conversion therapy". The ban is likely to apply to all corporations, churches and non-profit associations within Red Deer city limits. This totalitarian ban (divided into five clauses) now makes it illegal for persons who experience unwanted gender identity confusion or same-sex attraction from being able to procure either clinical psychotherapy or counseling to overcome their unwanted condition or to leave the transsexual/gay lifestyle. Higham's reservations about supporting this terrible Motion indicate that this Councillor may be educable regarding the dangers of LGBT ideology and imposing such a ban.
