MLA Nathaniel Teed
New Democratic Party, Saskatoon Meewasin, SK
Bio
CLC rating: Pro-abortion; Pro-LGBT ideology
Rating Comments: In his bio on the legislative assembly website, Mr. Teed identifies as "openly gay" and is in a homosexual relationship. He also strongly infers his support for abortion by referencing parents' founding of the Saskatoon Community Clinic, which offers 'Support for termination of pregnancies", and from its website, also appears to dispense the chemical abortion pill and set up appointments for surgical abortions.
In reference to his mother's support for this abortion-pushing clinic, Teed says "he carries forward their legacy". This clinic also provides "transgender healthcare".
The NDP's pro-abortion stance was also officially confirmed by Party Leader, Dwain Lingenfelter, who told CLC Saskatchewan in a letter that the NDP unequivocally supports abortion and taxpayer funding of abortion. His letter stated that these are guiding principles of the NDP party.

Here is Nathaniel Teed's voting record relating to life and family issues:
Votes, Surveys and Policy Decision | Vote | Score |
---|---|---|
Bill 137 — The Education (Parents’ Bill of Rights) Amendment Act, 2023 In a groundbreaking victory for parental rights and child protection in Canada, the Saskatchewan provincial government passed its Parents’ Bill of Rights, ensuring that parental authority is respected, family values are prioritized over politically-correct / state-approved values, and students are better protected from falling prey to LGBT grooming and woke ideological indoctination. Premier Scott Moe even invoked the Notwithstanding Clause to shield the pro-family legislation from the whims of unelected, activist judges who might try to label it “transphobic”. Bill 137 passed by a huge vote margin of 40 - 12 on October 20, 2023. |
