This motion would have expanded the scope of the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) to cover the cost of all prescription contraceptives, including oral hormone pills, copper IUDs, implants and the abortifacient drug called Plan B. This motion was defeated on Nov. 30, 2023, by a vote of 61-23.
