Media Advisory: Thousands expected to hit the streets in more than 200 locations across Canada for Life Chain
Toronto, Sept 30, 2016 – On Sunday, October 2, 2016, thousands of Canadians in more than 200 locations from coast to coast will bring the pro-life message to the streets for the annual National Life Chain, a peaceful witness where participants exercise their freedom of speech by standing on sidewalks and lining the streets with signs professing their firm belief in the value of all human life.
Participants will hold signs that read:
-ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN
-ADOPTION THE LOVING OPTION
-ABORTION HURTS WOMEN
-LIFE THE FIRST INALIENABLE RIGHT
“In just one hour, tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Canadians are exposed to the message that abortion kills children,” said Deny Dieleman, National Coordinator for Life Chain Canada. “Too many Canadians are not aware of the sad reality that almost 100,000 pre-born babies are killed every year in our nation, and this is one way of reminding the public that life is precious and that life is worth standing up for.”
What: The National Life Chain.
Where: Intersections and sidewalks in more than 200 locations across Canada (see list of locations here)
When: Between 2-3pm on Sunday, October 2, 2016. (Hours may vary in some locations)
