Campaign Life Coalition to speak at My Child My Choice rally at Queen’s Park, against Premier Wynne’s radical Sex-ed curriculum

Toronto, April, 13, 2015 – On April 14th, Ontario parents will once again protest Premier Wynne’s controversial sex-education curriculum at Queen’s Park. This protest, entitled My Child My Choice, promises to be significantly larger than the February 24th event which ignited numerous local protests across Ontario by concerned parents. A simultaneous protest has been organized in London, ON at Victoria Park, so families who are unable to travel to Queen’s Park can express their opposition to the age-inappropriate program as well.  A fitting backdrop to this protest is the sentencing of former Deputy Education Minister, Ben Levin, under whom the Liberal sex-ed curriculum was developed. Levin was convicted of 3 child pornography related charges. Sentencing began April 13 and is expected to wrap-up April 15.

Who: Rally organizers from the MyChildMyChoice.ca organization including former public school board trustee Sam Sotiropoulos, plus Campaign Life Coalition’s Jack Fonseca, Teresa Pierre, President of Parents As First Educators, Charles McVety, Institute for Canadian Values, MPP Monte McNaughton, and other parents representing various ethnic and cultural communities.

When: Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00am to 12noon

Where: Queen’s Park, Toronto
