MEDIA ADVISORY Press Conference: Thousands expected on Parliament Hill to demand that RU-486 stay out of Canada

Ottawa, May 6, 2014 – Campaign Life Coalition will be kicking off the 17th National March for Life in Ottawa: the largest annual pro-life rally in Canada, by calling on the Government to reject the importation application for the deadly abortion drug RU-486 into Canada. This year’s theme presents a double entendre: RU-4LIFE? A question we pose to all Canadians – with added emphasis on CLC’s campaign to keep RU-486 out of Canada. An application is currently under review by Health Canada. This human pesticide kills pre-born human beings at 5-9 weeks gestation, causes their mothers serious adverse side-effects and has killed dozens of women worldwide, including one in Canada.
