Battle River-Crowfoot CPC nomination

Dear Supporter,

If you're a paid-up member of the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC), please plan to vote for our two (2) pro-life, pro-parental rights contestants in the CPC nomination being held in your federal riding of Battle River-Crowfoot from July 14th to 17th

Campaign Life Coalition is urging our supporters who are CPC members to vote for these two strong social conservatives: Damien Kurek & Jeff Watson.

The voting process uses a "ranked ballot" system, so we ask that you please vote for Jeff Watson and Damien Kurek as your #1 and/or #2 choices on the ballot, in your order of preference. No other contestants have been deemed to be supportable.

It's up to you to decide which of these two stellar pro-lifers to rank as #1, but whoever you chose as #1, make sure you rank the other person as #2.

About our endorsed pro-life contestants

Both of these men are equally supportable in CLC's view and will do a fantastic job representing our values in the House of Commons. We provide a brief bio below, which, along with other selection criteria you may have in addition to moral issues, may be helpful to you in deciding whom to support for the #1 ballot position, and whom to support for #2.

Jeff Watson

Jeff is a veteran politician who served as the MP for Essex from 2004 to 2015, but lost during Trudeau's Liberal wave in the 2015 federal election. During his time as an MP, Jeff had a perfect voting record on life & family issues. He was also a regular participant in the National March For Life, organized by CLC.

Damien Kurek

Damien was an executive staff member of your retiring, pro-life/pro-family MP, Kevin Sorenson. In the recent past, Damien also provided invaluable assistance to CLC's pro-life and pro-family work, for which we are immensely grateful.

The third contestant

There is a third person seeking the nomination, a man named Jefferson McClung. He is also believed to be pro-life, although he has not answered CLC's questionnaire and does not possess the bona fides of Watson and Kurek. We ask you to rank McClung as #3 on the ballot.

Push back against the culture of death

We need a strong pro-lifer to become your next MP for Battle River-Crowfoot to replace retiring MP Sorenson -- somebody who will advance respect for the sanctity of human life and family values, against the culture of death that is so deeply entrenched on Parliament Hill.

Every vote counts, so please attend one of the nomination voting locations from July 14th to 17th and cast your ballot for our two pro-life nomination contestants!
