Judicial Review - CHP Canada vs. City of Hamilton
A legal case between the Christian Heritage Party of Canada and the City of Hamilton is set to undergo a Judicial Review on Monday, October 28, 2024.
This case came about as a result of the City of Hamilton refusing to display a certain CHP advertisement, which featured a photo of a woman with the text "Woman: An Adult Female. Bringing Respect for Life and Truth to Canadian Politics." printed below it, on city-owned bus shelters back in July of 2023.
The Judicial Review will take place at the John Sopinka Courthouse, 45 Main St E, Hamilton, Ontario L8N 2B7, starting at 10:00 AM, and is expected to last a full day. Those wishing to attend are advised to arrive at the courthouse at 9:00 AM or earlier, in order to allow for enough time to go through security screening and to find out which courtroom this matter will be heard in. After going through security, proceed to the elevator on the 6th floor, where dockets posted nearby will confirm the correct courtroom.
