With the legal expansion of euthanasia to individuals who suffer with depression and mental illness set to take effect early in the new year, MP Leslyn Lewis of the Haldimand—Norfolk riding will be hosting a special forum on this topic next week.

More specifically, this forum will provide an opportunity to discuss the escalation of medical homicide in Canada since its legalization back in 2016.

In addition to MP Lewis, the forum will feature a panel of guest speakers, namely:

• Dr. Stephen Ellis, MP for Cumberland—Colchester
• Michael Cooper, MP for St. Albert—Edmonton
