CLC rating: position unknown
Rating Comments: 2022 CLC election survey has not yet been sent. Therefore, the candidate’s views on life issues are not known. However, on a positive note, Duggan voted against flying the LGBT Pride flag over city hall in 2019. That flag is a controversial symbol of homosexual & transgender political power, which is exclusionary to many people of traditional faiths, and in this age of vicious, leftwing cancel culture, it makes many Christians feel unsafe and vulnerable to persecution for simply being themselves.

Flying the controversial gay pride flag over City Hall, despite the fact it contradicts the values and religious beliefs of many citizens who also deserve to be represented by elected officials Many people of faith - Christians, Muslims, Jews, Sikhs, and others, have deeply held religious beliefs about marriage and human sexuality. It is disrepectful to the citizenry for elected officials who have an obligation to represent all constituents, to take one side of a controversial moral issue. |

Do you consider yourself pro-life or pro-choice? | survey not sent |
There has been a move in some municipal jurisdictions to pass bylaws which establish censorship zones, also called “bubble zones”, around abortion facilities. These unconstitutional censorship zones make it illegal to express peaceful pro-life speech, including silent prayer, on taxpayer-owned public sidewalks within the vicinity of abortion facilities and pharmacies which dispense abortion pills. If elected, would you vote to oppose such a censorship bylaw? | survey not sent |
Organizations like Planned Parenthood (PP) routinely counsel women to have abortions, and increasingly, are involved in dispensing the chemical abortion pill. Given that abortion is a controversial practice that many taxpayers in your municipality find abhorrent, do you agree that PP and similar “sexual health agencies" should not receive taxpayer funds through the municipality? | survey not sent |
