Rating Comments: Cambridge City Councillor Adam Cooper gave an eloquent and powerful pro-free-speech presentation at the Region of Waterloo's council meeting on September 27, 2023, where he delegated against a proposed censorship by-law that would have empowered LGBT activists and municipal staff to remove citizens from public property, charge them with "hate", and to fine them $250 for causing people to "feel harassed" or "worried" by the lawful free speech, signs and communications of others.
Disturbingly, in February 2024, Councillor Cooper voted to eliminate 'female only' washrooms, change rooms, and showers at a local Recreation Centre, thus exposing women and girls in these intimate spaces to partially or fully unclothed men, all in the name of normalizing transgender ideology.
