| Motion: Regulating the Unsolicited Distribution of Graphic Images Depicting a Fetus Calgary City Council vote to censor the images of abortion's victims by forcing them to be concealed in envelopes bearing warning labels and the name of the pro-life advocacy group, all of which will add significantly to the cost and time involved in producing these pro-life educational materials. Each breach of these arbitrary strictures carries a $1,000 fine. This Motion will curtail and suppress the capacity of pro-life groups to freely inform the public about the atrocity of abortion and motivate people of good will to put an end to the abortion holocaust. Sadly, this free-speech-stifling Motion passed by a vote of 14 to 0 on May 9, 2023. |
