| Censorship by-law to supress the distribution & effectiveness of pro-life literature Council vote to censor the images of abortion victim photography and/or other images of children in the womb. Bylaw would force pro-lifers to conceal literature in opaque envelopes, which will greatly reduce the reach and visibility of these pro-life educational materials. This by-law will curtail and suppress the capacity of pro-life groups to freely inform the public about the atrocity of abortion and/or to provide general education about prenatal development. It is totally unconsitutional, directly attacking the Charter right to freedom of expression. |
