Trudeau bill would steal formula & diapers from babies
URGENT ACTION NEEDED!
Would you believe that Justin Trudeau is trying to prevent young women in a crisis pregnancy – and their babies – from being able to get free baby formula, diapers, housing assistance and counselling?
Well, the Liberals are introducing legislation hoping to achieve exactly that.
On Wednesday morning October 30th, the Trudeau Liberals are expected to table legislation targeting pro-life crisis pregnancy centers.
The legislation is essentially designed to stigmatize non-profit, crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) and subject them to suspicion and public detestation.
Furthermore, the proposed legislation will provide a mechanism for Liberals and their army of Canada Revenue Agency auditors to attempt to strip CPCs of their charitable tax-exempt status, on a sort of technicality.
While the wording of the legislation has not yet been released, here is how it might target CPCs...
The bill reportedly requires all pro-life CPCs to make it clear that they do not offer abortions or contraception. Most CPCs in Canada already do that, so what’s the point of this?
Well, if CRA investigators claim that “the wording on your website wasn’t totally clear” or if they can argue that, “someone reading it might not fully understand that you don’t promote abortion as an option”, they can claim that the pregnancy centre has violated the law and must therefore lose its charitable status.
Or paid abortion activists can be sent into CPCs posing as a pregnant woman who’s looking for information on adoption, for example, hoping to run into a volunteer who doesn’t say the words, “We don’t counsel abortion”.
Then, that abortion activist can run to a Trudeau MP, or file a complaint with CRA, demanding that the crisis pregnancy centre be stripped of its charitable tax status.
TAKE ACTION: LOBBY YOUR MP
Please ask your local MP, no matter what party, to vote against this hate-driven bill which would deprive vulnerable young women and their babies of formula, diapers, housing assistance, adoption counseling and more.
Find your MP and his or her contact info at our website by clicking here.
For help with talking points, you can study an open letter that I sent to Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, right here.
TAKE EVEN MORE ACTION: Contact the Conservative MPs
If the Conservatives can be encouraged to speak out against this bill and shame the Liberals for trying to take baby formula out of the mouths of infants, and preventing poor women from getting free diapers, perhaps Trudeau will rethink the wisdom of this spiteful strategy.
So, if you have a little more time available to invest in this campaign, you could email and phone your local Conservative MP and ask them to oppose this bill very loudly and strongly.
