On November 13th, municipal elections will be held in the City of Saskatoon to choose a new Mayor and City Councillors.

By calling upon God's favour on our efforts - and your involvement in this crucial race - we hope to elect a majority of pro-life and pro-family council members in this election.

Dangerous man seeking Mayor's seat

CLC has learned that former Saskatchewan Party provincial MLA Gordon Wyant will be seeking the mayor's chair.

This is not good news.

Why not?

Because he is a pro-abortion politician and also a fierce enemy of parental rights in education. A man like this would do much ideological damage to the people of Saskatoon if he were allowed to wield the power of the Mayor's office.

Some background on Gordon Wyant

At a press conference earlier in June, Mr. Wyant announced that he was immediately resigning his seat as a Sask Party MLA in order to run for Mayor of Saskatoon.

At the conference, he took the opportunity to express his undying devotion to transgender ideology and to condemn the excellent Parental Rights Bill that was recently passed by Premier Scott Moe's government. Wyant stated:

“I said in my speech in the House, gender identity as a prohibited ground of discrimination is my proudest moment at the legislature."

"And you'll know I didn't vote on the (Parental Rights Bill) legislation that the government had brought forward in the emergency session. I didn't vote for it, and I think that indicates the fact that I wasn't supportive of the legislation the way it was and the way it was brought forward."

Apparently, Mr. Wyant thinks his betrayal of parents who wish to protect their children from gender ideology and its mutilating outcomes is something to be proud of, and will make him a more electable candidate - at least in the minds of a certain bloc of voters.

Who, then, would welcome such a treacherous attitude toward loving parents who want to shield their children from sexual indoctrination and self-harm that could include surgical mutilation?

Mr. Wyant tells us. Again, from his press conference:

“I have reached out, reached out to organizers of the Pride Parade."

"I'll be having conversations with them this week in terms of my participation, if it's their position that they don't want me to participate in the parade, I'll be very respectful of that. I hope they change their mind."

Mr. Wyant is almost begging the LGBT Pride Parade organizers to forgive him for having been associated with a Sask Party government that acted to safeguard the rights of parents to shield their children from the worst ravages of transgender indoctrination.

And to emphasize his pro-LGBT credentials even more, a fawning Wyant hastened to add:

“I've participated in pretty much every pride parade since I was on Saskatoon City Council, and I'm very proud of my attendance record and proud of my support for human rights when it comes to transgender individuals.”

Finally, to top it all off, Wyant has previously admitted to being pro-abortion!

Friend, we must find someone more principled than this man to serve as your next mayor.

Stop dividing children from parents

We're asking our supporters in Saskatoon to help stop the division of children from their parents by ensuring Gordon Wyant is defeated in this November's mayoral election.

How?

By helping us identify and recruit a pro-life, pro-parental-rights candidate to oppose the pro-abortion, transgender ideologue Wyant in the mayoral race.

Do you know a friend, neighbour, or family member who has a strong commitment to life-and-family values and would be willing to stand between Wyant and the reins of power, by running for mayor?

Or are you yourself that person, having waited for a moment like this to motivate you to stand up for the parents and children of Saskatoon and run for mayor?

We're looking for someone with a strong faith in God's natural order and in life and family as the bedrock of society - and who will never march in a gay Pride parade.

I should mention that the only other declared mayoral candidate to date, Cynthia Block (currently a Saskatoon City Councillor) is also rabidly pro-LGBT, and was a leading advocate for a draconian ban on so-called "conversion therapy", which makes it illegal for parents to affirm their gender-confused children in their biological sex.

We can't let either of these radical, anti-family candidates win!
