Canada Must Stop Child Sex-Change
I’ve told you about the trend to ban so-called “conversion therapy” all across Canada. Under Bill C-8, Bill S-202, and through various provincial and municipal proposals pushed by the LGBT lobby, it will soon be a crime to help people accept the biological sex they were born with. If people question their God-given gender, it will be illegal for counsellors, therapists, pastors, or priests to intervene, even if people request or seek out help.
The flip side of the “conversion therapy” ban is the state-sponsored promotion (and taxpayer funding) of sex-change surgeries and therapies. Our political elite believe that if a person is confused about his or her sex, we should offer only one course of treatment – one singular option: transgender affirmation. Apparently, we must do nothing but affirm people in their gender confusion and encourage them to “transition” to the opposite sex.
It sounds crazy – and it is crazy, but that is the policy of our current Liberal government in Ottawa. And that is the policy of many left-leaning political leaders all across this nation.
Helping people accept their true, God-given biological identity is considered criminal “conversion therapy”, while inciting people to switch genders and change (convert) from one sex to the other is lauded as “affirming”. This is absolute nonsense!
Now it’s bad enough when our government pushes all this insanity on average citizens like you and me. But they really cross the line when they begin to shove this garbage down our kids’ throats. And that is exactly what is happening as we speak.
Children are being counselled and encouraged to undergo sex-change therapies with or without parental consent. And they are not being permitted to access reparative counselling as an alternative. (The recent case of a dad in BC who was barred from stopping his daughter from “transitioning” to a boy is just one example.)
For the safety and protection of all our children, we need to demand our politicians enact legislation to ban the horrific and cruel practice of child sex-change in Canada. That is why we are launching a new petition today.
END CHILD SEX-CHANGE!
In Great Britain, the conservative government of Boris Johnson has announced its intention to ban “genital reconstructive surgery” for all children under age 18. The British Minister for Women and Equalities, Liz Truss, explains: “I believe strongly that adults should have the freedom to lead their lives as they see fit, but I think it’s very important that while people are still developing their decision-making capabilities that we protect them from making irreversible decisions.”
Canada’s Prime Minister and 13 Premiers must follow Britain’s lead in this matter.
Banning child sex-change is a common sense proposal that puts the health and well-being of children first – over the manipulative politics of the LGBT lobby.
Science has proven the health risks of child sex-change. Gender reassignment surgeries result in the mutilation or amputation of completely healthy and functioning body parts through mastectomy (breast removal), hysterectomy (uterus removal), or penectomy (penis removal). Puberty suppression and cross-sex hormone therapy alters normal biological development, producing permanent sterility (inability to have offspring), and increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, sexual dysfunction, and other conditions. The elevated risk of mental illness and suicidal ideation is also well documented among children who “transition” via medical intervention. Those who undergo gender reassignment surgery are 20 times more likely to commit suicide than non-transgender individuals.
According to the American College of Pediatricians, “The treatment of GD [gender dysphoria] in childhood with hormones effectively amounts to mass experimentation on, and sterilization of, youth who are cognitively incapable of providing informed consent. There is a serious ethical problem with allowing irreversible, life-changing procedures to be performed on minors who are too young to give valid consent themselves; adolescents cannot understand the magnitude of such decisions.”
Furthermore, statistics show a high rate of desistance among transgender children. Up to 98 per cent of children who identify as transgender come to accept their true biological sex by the time they reach adulthood. In the normal course of their development, if left without medical sex-change intervention, most of these children become quite happy in the body God gave them. These children have the right to be spared from the negative long-term consequences of permanent gender reassignment.
There are many psychological and social factors that might lead a child to question his or her sex and seek to “transition”. Some experts have reported a phenomenon known as “rapid-onset gender dysphoria”, which has many children choosing to “transition” as a fad. The UK alone saw a 4,000 per cent increase in children seeking to transition in 2018, which has alarmed many health care professionals. Fads are temporary, and they should not be treated with permanent, irreversible medical procedures!
The fact is that children are very impressionable and changeable. As they develop and mature, they outgrow old tastes, old interests, and old thought-patterns. We, as a country, need to safeguard our children during this natural growth process and ensure they are protected from all harm – including the harm caused by their own childishness and immaturity. This is why we do not allow children to purchase alcohol or marijuana.
If we worry about the adverse health effects of alcohol or marijuana in children, why do we not worry about the impact of dangerous sex-change drugs or surgeries?

We want the federal and provincial governments across Canada to prohibit all sex-change surgeries and sex-change drugs for children under age 18.
