In a month’s time, pro-lifers will gather at over 200 locations from coast to coast to participate in Life Chain. They will pray silently for an hour while holding non-graphic signs with messages such as, “Abortion kills children,” “Abortion hurts women,” and “Life: the first inalienable right.”

Though Life Chain is usually on the first Sunday of October, due to Thanksgiving, it will be held on Sunday, September 30 from 2-3 pm at most Canadian locations this year.

This simple, peaceful witness provides an opportunity for young and old to remind their fellow community members of the inherent dignity of every human being, and our duty to defend the vulnerable.
